Kits – Pre School

The Pre School at Pitsford (Kits) welcomes children into a warm and inclusive environment. We believe that happy children learn more and there’s a real emphasis on learning through play. By offering a stimulating and varied environment, we provide experiences to interest and challenge every child who attends our setting.

Our small class sizes enable us to get to know our children incredibly well and provide a tailored learning journey. This personalised, child-led approach to education provides children the space in which to thrive and nurture their unique personalities and abilities.

Kits being based in the Junior School, the transition into Reception is made seamless. Our Kits children know many of the teachers already and the environment is so familiar it’s not a shock to start ‘big school’.

Kits is able to accept children aged three years old. All three and four year old children are entitled to 15 hours funded childcare.

Kits is a term time provision with a minimum of three sessions per week. Sessions are from 8.30am to 3.30pm. In line with all pupils attending Pitsford School, parents are welcome to drop their children at School from 8.00am and collect their children up until 5.20pm for no extra charge. A light tea will be provided for children staying after 3.30pm, this period of time is known as Creche.

Please see our Fees page for latest fees. Fees are inclusive of lunch (and a light tea at Creche if used) and we do participate in the Local Authority Funding for 3 and 4 year olds.
