Head of the Juniors
Mrs J V Willmott BEd
Head of the Junior School and the J5 Class Teacher
A graduate of the University of East Anglia, Mrs Willmott has been teaching full time for over twenty years. She began her career in a Buckinghamshire middle school and since then has taught in many schools, across all primary age groups, throughout Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
Mrs Willmott is an enthusiastic musician who has co-ordinated music across the primary curriculum; she was part of the Rural Schools Project, which gave support to small village schools, particularly in the areas of Music and SEN. Here at Pitsford School, she runs beginners’ and improvers’ recorder groups for our pupils and leads the choir and chamber choir in assemblies, concerts and competitions. Her love of music is reflected in the many musical activities and achievements of the Junior School.
As an avid reader herself, Mrs Willmott is keen to instil that joy of reading and language into her pupils and ensures that reading aloud, use of the library and the encouragement of reading for pleasure are a regular part of the school day for each child.
Her aim is to provide pupils in the Junior School with a fully rounded education, personalised to individual learning abilities, thus enabling all pupils to achieve their best.

Mr. O Auckland

Mr Auckland joined Pitsford School in September 2014. He has 10 years’ experience of teaching Key Stage 2. On arriving at Pitsford School, Mr Auckland said ‘the small class sizes and superb facilities mean I can spend more time helping individual children make progress. Mrs M Conroy BA
Modern Foreign Languages (Junior School)
After graduating in Paris, I decided to come over to England as a French assistant for two years at Leicester QE Sixth Form College. I loved teaching and after this experience I then, decided to apply to do my PGCE at Leicester University. I worked in a number of schools across Leicestershire before I joined Pitsford School.
In 1996, I got married and have three wonderful children. I love swimming, sailing and running. I am proud to have sailed across the channel a few times on an 8 metre boat. I love sharing my culture and my language with the children of Pitsford School and have done so for more than a decade.
