Mrs Cowling graduated with her Undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She then went to live and work in South Korea Teaching English as a foreign language before returning to the UK to get her PGCE at the University of Leeds. Mrs Cowling worked at St Peter’s school in York as Teacher of Biology and then acting Head of Biology, she taught briefly at Leicester Grammar school before joining Pitsford School in 2014.
Mrs Cowling is involved in girls games coaching netball, is a Bronze DofE Leader and currently runs the medical society at Pitsford School. She is a keen runner and has previously run the London Marathon.
