We’d like to take this opportunity to relaunch the Pitsford School PPA and introduce ourselves to you all. We are:

  • Chair - Gemma Suter
  • Deputy Chair - Louise Downward Burditt,
  • Secretary - Ruth Humphrey and
  • Treasurer - Julia Bennett.

We all have children in the junior school, but also two of us have children in the senior school too. We are helped out by a lovely group of parents from the junior school, that help us with ideas, setting up events and then at the events themselves. We have been a group of junior parents as a PPA for about 12 months, organising several events including the bonfire night, the shopping night, and the junior school Christmas bazaar.

However, we are looking to expand the PPA across the whole school…

So….. if you’d like to come along and join us on the PPA or if you’d like to get involved in helping at events, or if you simply have a contact or something you can donate to an event, please get in touch. We have our very own PPA email address ( ) so you can contact us directly. We are all often around at drop off or pick up too so we are happy to chat at any point. We are looking at organising a coffee morning at drop off and then one at pick up too, so that you can come and meet us, and find out what we’re up to. We have lots of exciting events in the pipeline for the year ahead. So watch this space for more details on those. We look forward to meeting you, and welcoming you to the PPA.

30th Anniversary Ball

All good birthdays deserve a party and the 30th Anniversary of the school was no exception. On 21st September 2019 we hosted a truly wonderful Black Tie Ball for all current and previous Pitsfordians. Our aim was two-fold, organise a great night and raise some money to help renovate the Chapel…. it’s not boasting to say that everyone had a great time and we are still totting up just how much we raised for the Chapel…

The weather was kind and we enjoyed a champagne reception in the grounds whilst being serenaded by the beautiful voice of Head Girl, Alex. The Sports Hall was transformed with beautiful table decorations and clever lighting, whilst chef Danny Tompkins served up a glorious meal for us all to enjoy.

The positive atmosphere made for a wonderfully successful auction and raffle. Both raised a fabulous amount of money (watch out for news of the final total…)and the evening was finished off with some great music and a lot of dancing!

The next event will be Bonfire Night and the Christmas Shopping Extravaganza so watch this space for more details .........
