House Flash Fiction Winners Announced

This year the Flash Fiction competition has see a strong field of entries with the year 7s really taking on the challenge. The objective this year was to write no more than 350 words, using a GIF from a selected few, as their stimulus. There were House points at stake and some excellent stories entered.

Points for Participation:

  • Robinson- 8 pupils
  • Hesketh-7 pupils
  • Wake- 8 pupils

The pupils have written some fabulous stories, creating tension, atmosphere and conveying strong emotions, all within a relatively small number of words.

Special mention should go to Oliver P in yr8  of Robinson for his story called “The Afterglow” for being voted the Champion of Champions by both SLT and Heads of Houses.
