Storytime @ Pitsford

Posted: 30th April 2020

Paddington Bear has always been a firm favourite in my house from the books when I was little to the films more recently. So during this strange time of lockdown and social distancing it has been nice to revisit the childhood favourite with Dr Walker’s storytime at Pitsford. As we work our way through the chapters and learn more about Paddington it has been great to see the pictures of the children enjoying the story in thier various settings. Megan was even inspired to read a story for her own year group which was lovely to see!

This morning we were lucky enough to recieve a special delivery of our very own Paddington Bear, courtsey of Fraser in J4. We opened the door to find this wonderful package on the steps, complete with “Please look after this bear” on the tag. When we unrolled it we were delighted to find a bright and cheery Paddington looking back at us. Suffice to say we will indeed “look after this Bear” and he will be framed and put up on the wall in Dr Walker’s office! Thank you Fraser.
