On the 4th October, Pitsford played against Maidwell Hall and were captained by Carl M.

The game was kicked off by the away side and they were dominating by pushing Pitsford to defend their line. After a good offload their big player ran through the Pitsford line, running over to score under the posts, to make the score 1-0 to Maidwell. Pitsford heads didn't drop and with good passing down the line by Pitsford, found the speedster Fabian with space to run round their team to equalize the score. Unfortunately Maidwell picked up their game scoring two tries going around the Pitsford line.

Maidwell were passing the ball out wide. Keeping their heads up, Ned B ripped the ball from Maidwell's grasp, dodging through their defence and scoring a try.

The second half kicked off with all the players tired and exhausted. Pitsford were busting a gut defending Maidwell's attacking line. All of use were pushing Fabian P and Ned B with some great tackling. Carl M gave the team good advice to get it out wide to the wing but unfortunately we lost the ball with a knock on. It was a scrum to Maidwell and they passed it out wide, running to make it 5-2 to them. Then with the ball lose Fabian P got a lovely pick up and ran in to make a try.

The last score was 6-3 to Maidwell. It was a great game to watch.

Man of the Match went to Fabian Powell.
